What is the Interest Subvention Scheme?

The Interest Subvention Scheme provides direct interest relief on export credit availed from banks. The benefit is passed upfront by the lending bank and later reimbursed through RBI, ensuring faster cash-flow support for exporters

Key Benefits at a Glance

  • Interest Relief: 2.75% per annum

  • Applicable On:

    • Pre-shipment Rupee Export Credit

    • Post-shipment Rupee Export Credit

  • Maximum Benefit: ₹50 lakh per MSME exporter per financial year

  • Implementation: Through RBI on a pilot basis

Who is Eligible?

The scheme is available to:

  • MSME Manufacturer Exporters

  • MSME Merchant Exporters

  • Valid & active IEC

  • Valid Udyam (MSME) Registration

  • Exports falling under the notified positive list of HSN 6-digit tariff lines
